Mrs. Patricia “Patty” Johnson, Principal
Welcome to Thousand Oaks Elementary! It is an incredible honor and privilege to serve as the principal of this outstanding school community. I am excited to partner with our students, families, staff, and community members as we work together to create an environment where every child is known, valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed.
I am a proud product of the North East Independent School District and am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the district that helped shape my own educational journey. I earned my bachelor's degree from Texas Lutheran University and later completed my master's degree at Texas A&M University–San Antonio.
With 33 years of experience in NEISD as both a teacher and administrator, I have been fortunate to serve students and families in a variety of roles throughout my career. These experiences have strengthened my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence create the foundation for student success. My greatest passion is helping every student discover their unique strengths and reach their fullest potential. I believe every child can learn, grow, and thrive when provided with engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and a supportive school community. Together with our dedicated staff, we are committed to fostering academic excellence while developing confident, compassionate leaders who are prepared for future success.
At Thousand Oaks Elementary, we believe in the power of collaboration between home and school. I look forward to building lasting partnerships with our families as we celebrate achievements, embrace challenges, and create memorable learning experiences for every student.
Thank you for visiting our website. I invite you to become an active part of our Thousand Oaks family, and I look forward to an amazing year of learning, growth, and success together!
